Things to Do in Los Angeles

Things to Do in Los Angeles

I’m sure that you would agree with me that Los Angeles is a huge city in the US and has many fun attractions. So what are some top things you should make sure to do while in LA? First of all there is Silver Reign. This is the top gentleman’s club in the area. It has an intimate environment where all of your fantasies can come true. If you are looking for some late night fun, be sure to check them out. They are open until 4:00am every night. Second, make sure to check out Venice Beach. It has an eccentric spirit full of skateboarders, radical pamphleteers and even body builders. If you want a place to enjoy people watching then this is the place for you! Third, make sure to take time to stroll down the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Here you will find 2400 stars immortalized in pink terrazzo. Fourth, if you are into art, be sure to check out the Getty Center. It has many generous endowments and features artwork from the Renaissance to the present day. They have some pieces by some of my favorite artists including: Rubens, Monet, Renoir, Cezanne and Van Gogh to name a few. Fifth, if you are a shopping buff then don’t miss Rodeo Drive. Take some time to window shop if you can’t afford the lavish lifestyle. Believe it or not, the cobblestone walkway of this famous street cost a whopping $200 million. Sixth, if you are into Jurassic Park then you may want to visit the Museum of Jurassic Technology. It houses a bat that can fly through walls, and even impossibly tiny sculptures. Seventh, if architecture is more your thing, perhaps take the time to visit the Watts Towers. This were begun in the 1920s using nothing but scrap metal. These cool masterpieces are decorated with green glass from old 7-up bottles, tiles from Malibu pottery, jewelry, marble and even seashells. These are something I’d definitely like to check out. Eighth, although not in Los Angeles proper, a great place to check out is Disneyland. This is great for the family to have fun together. Visit and get your picture taken with the classic characters and have fun on the rides. Ninth, if music is more your style then be sure to catch a show at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. It was designed by the famous Frank Gehry and is a sight to see. Catch a show and you’ll witness the beauty of acoustics. Finally, if you want a more reasonable shopping experience check out The Grove. This is an open-air mall featuring 50 great stores such as Abercrombie and Barneys New York. Also part of this outdoor mall includes an original farmers market. I know these are my favorite! I love checking out all the little vendors. So next time you are in Los Angeles, or planning a trip, keep some if not all of these attractions in mind and have some fun!...
